Alessandro represents the Wine of Luiano, the rigorous mastermind who meticulously and with deep dedication carries forward the family tradition of wine making.
Felicia represents the Entertainment side of Luiano, with her exuberant and whimsical personality, ensuring the satisfaction of Luiano’s guests is as important as the perfect balance that only a good glass of excellent wine can bring.
The careful cultivation of vines, the hard work of harvesting, the magic of fermentation and the art of cellaring, are just a few of the magical ingredients that make Luiano a truly special space. A unique boutique winery.
At Luiano, joviality and the pleasure of good company comes first and foremost. For us, a good mood combined with wellbeing make up the true quality of life.
We like to think of our bottles like an extra friend that you can take with you, whether it’s at the dinner table with a group of friends, or savour while sitting on your home couch while enjoying a TV show.
This is why Luiano is an “open” winery – a place where to get acquainted with wine in a jovial and playful manner. And if you want to delve in the technical details and more serious side of wine making, don’t worry, we’ll be happy to oblige. Luiano has that too!

Chianti Classico producers, not just Classic Chianti Producers
TrilogyChianti Classico
- VINTAGEUNEXPECTED CLASSIC. An explosion of tasty, ripe red fruit. A vivacious and robust wine, wide and velvety, a perfect choice for easy drinking wine lovers. Obtained by Sangiovese 90% and completed by Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot in equal parts, then refined in oak for six months.
- RISERVA OUR BEAUTIFUL ELEGANT LADY. An elegant expression of the best Sangiovese, wide, velvety, robust and rich. A wine that fully expresses the heritage and tradition of the Chianti Classico’s high standards. 100% Sangiovese is aged for 24 months in french oak barrique.
- GRAN SELEZIONEFAMILY HERITAGE. Ottantuno is a limited production that stands out for its great Character and Personality. Its taste is full and round with balanced elegance. The grapes for this wines are obtained by two selected vineyards of Sangiovese (85%) and Merlot (15%). Aged for 24 monts in french oak barriques and refined 6 months in bottle.
Super Tuscan``LUI di LUIANO``
- SUPER TUSCANVarietals Cabernet 33%, Merlot 33% Colorino Toscano 33%. Appellation Rosso Toscana IGT. Production zone Mercatale V.P. (FI) Tuscany. Alchool 14,5%. Stainless steel refining of 2 months, oak refining 24 months, refining in bottle for 6 months. Preservation of 15-20 years.
- LUI WHO?A Gentleman from the Tuscan countryside. A man of the world in his concrete substance but a Chianti Man style lies in his care for details. If this wine could be a man this is how we would like our Lui, Him, to be.

- EVERY DAY WINESangiovese One hundred percent pure Sangiovese, young and fresh, very easy drinking. This wine is a genuine and loyal representative of all the scents and aromas of our territory.
- JUST REDRed like a pair of smiling lips that share a love for good food and good wine. Red like a juicy strawberry or the burning sun at dusk. Red like no other.

- FORMATS AND STRANGE NAMESMore than 15 different shapes of wine bottle are classified in the wine industry, each one of them is named after a celebrated name of epic heritage. We like to take it easy and fun so we chose to use special and customised formats for our wines, The Big Little One and The Little Big One.
- DON'T CALL ME MAGNUMYes, it is a 1.5 litres but... it's fun, good looking and elegant at the same time... a good company for wine lovers...
- SMALL IN STAURE BIG IN STYLEOur little big one cannot be defined at all as a half-size... its strong personality and elegant look cheer you up as much as a conventional bottle... just more responsibly.

You are welcome to join us to live the beauty of our place. We will accompany you in a walk through all the sites where the production of wine takes place, we will tell you all about the story and the surrounding territory. We will taste our wines with you and give you some home made tasty food to enjoy them at their best.
We have to organise ourselves with time schedules, opening days, reservation rules… but you can count on our will to make you feel more like visiting old friends rather than being just a wine tourist.

Old Farmer House
Once it was the Farm Master’s house; his bedroom, his kitchen. Nowadays we transformed it in a large house holding up to 6-8 people furnished with old and modern styles together. The result is an elegant mix.
Vintage House
Our Grandfather used to take this part of the winery as his favorite so that he ended to estabilish here his own office because of perfect the view on the vineyards and the main courtyard. Today we have made of this special spot a tiny old-fashioned place to stay surrounded by elegant furnitures collected through the several years that our Family spent here in Luiano, this why we like to call it Vintage House.
