Long before welcoming travellers, these buildings were an integral part of life at Luiano, serving as farmers’ homes and working stables within the estate.
Today they have been thoughtfully restored into charming Winery Houses, where guests can experience the beauty of Chianti Classico from within a family-owned wine estate.
Here, days unfold among vineyards, sunsets are best enjoyed with a glass of wine, and the pace of life follows the rhythm of the Tuscan countryside. More than a place to stay, Luiano offers an opportunity to experience an authentic corner of Tuscany and feel part of its story, even if only for a few days.
What makes Luiano special is that this is not a resort or a tourist village, but a living winery. During your stay, you may see family members heading to work, vineyard workers tending the vines, tractors moving through the estate or preparations underway for tastings and events. These are all part of everyday life at Luiano and, for many guests, one of the most authentic and memorable aspects of their stay. A friendly chat, a local recommendation or a story shared over a glass of wine often become part of the experience.
Our Winery Houses are available as private holiday rentals (“locazione turistica”), offering the freedom and privacy of having your own home in Tuscany. The houses are fully equipped with linens, towels and everything needed for a comfortable stay. Upon arrival, guests are welcomed with a complimentary bottle of Luiano wine, water and coffee to start their experience with us.
As private holiday homes, meals and daily hotel services are not provided, allowing guests to enjoy Tuscany at their own pace and according to their own preferences.
Old Farmer House
The largest house on the estate, designed for those who enjoy sharing the Tuscan lifestyle with family and friends lifestyle with family and friends.
Spacious, welcoming and full of character, Old Farmhouse preserves the charm of a traditional Tuscan country home. Located in the heart of the estate, it offers guests the opportunity to experience everyday life at a family-owned winery, surrounded by vineyards, countryside landscapes and the authentic rhythm of rural Tuscany.
Here, mornings begin with vineyard views and evenings often end with a glass of wine at sunset, after a day spent exploring the villages, hills and flavours of Chianti Classico.
Located on the first floor (no elevator), the house comfortably accommodates up to 6 guests. It features 3 double bedrooms, an additional sofa bed if needed, a fully equipped kitchen with dining area, a spacious living room and two bathrooms. Guests also enjoy access to a private outdoor area of the garden, perfect for relaxing or dining al fresco.

Overlooking a “sea” of vineyards and the Greve Valley, the house offers a peaceful and intimate atmosphere, ideal for those seeking nature, tranquillity and authenticity. A place to slow down, enjoy the landscape and embrace the gentle rhythm of the Tuscan countryside.
Located on the first floor (no elevator), Vintage House features two double bedrooms, a living room, a kitchenette equipped with electric hobs and microwave, a bathroom and access to the estate garden.

“Santa Maria Novella” Station in Florence is located 21 km from Luiano. You will in any event need a car to reach the Luiano property.
The closest airports are Florence “Amerigo Vespucci” airport and Pisa “Galileo Gallilei”. Florence’s airport is 33 km from Luiano, whereas Pisa airport is 81 km away. A car is required to reach Luiano from both airports.
On highway A1 exit Firenze Impruneta, take the first exit towards Siena. Once on the Siena Speedway take the 1st exit towards Impruneta. Drive towards Greve in Chianti. Once you arrive in the locality named Falciani, continue to proceed towards Greve for 2 km, after which turn right when you see directions for Fattoria di Luiano on the road towards San Casciano Val di Pesa.
